| | BUTRINTI EXP-IMP Ltd. is an Albanian company founded in 2006 and situated in area of Vrion district of Delvine. This area is located in the south of Albania near the Ionian Sea. The company carries on the activity of collection and processing of mussels. During the two last years the company has invested in new technology enhancing food safety and product quality.The new line of mussels processing has a capacity of about 500 kg per hour. The products distinguish with very low cholesterol. The main objective of BUTRINTI is the improvement of product quality and the company responsibilities are always eager to match and fulfill the EU standards. During 2009 it plans to receive the export license for EU market. Presently about 30 of the products are exported preliminary to Macedonia Monte Negro and Serbia. The company has acquired the Certificate ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP.
